Steffan Hill's career started in London in 1992, after he graduated from Magnum photographer David Hurn's renowned documentary photography course at Newport College in Wales.

For the following decade he built up his name working on assignments for national and international newspapers & magazines as a reportage/features photographer, in particular The Independent, The Guardian/Observer and The Daily Telegraph.

It was during his time as The Daily Telegraph's arts photographer, shooting many major directors, actors and writers that he was introduced to the film & television industry and has rapidly established himself as an experienced unit stills photographer, working on numerous productions throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Relocating to Northern Ireland in 2007 he now specialises in publicity stills & portraits for film & television, advertising, fashion, beauty, architectural, commercial, corporate and wedding photography in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
